Dear Students,

With a vision to discover and nurture future entrepreneurs and job creators, Founders of Tomorrow by IVB, a national hunt to uncover entrepreneurial talent among school students, was born.

It is more than just a talent hunt. It's a gateway to turn your ideas into a real business, by joining IVB’s UG Program in Entrepreneurship, where you can upskill, find co-founders, receive mentorship and investment.

It is a pleasure to be one of the judges for this hunt, and to invite you to a thrilling experience. Wish you the best for the competition and your career ahead.

Who can participate

Eligibility:
Class XI, XII, and drop year students, in teams of 1 to 2. (inter-class and inter-school teams are allowed)

How FoT works

Round I
Round II
Round III

School Level

Eligibility:
Class XI, XII, and drop year students, in teams of 1 to 2. Entry is free.

Business stage:
Can be at any stage, from ideation to revenue generating.

Submission:
Register your team and send in your business idea as a word document, power point presentation or in video format.

Qualification:
Top 10 teams from each region qualify to regionals

Prizes:
Qualifying teams win Rs. 5,000 each. Each team member gets 1-on-1 career guidance from industry experts, and recognition by IVB as Top 100 Upcoming Business Leader.

Regional Level

Cities:
Regionals will be held in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata. Teams can register under any 1 region.

Eligible participants:
‍Top 10 teams from each region from the 1st round will compete at regionals

Presentation:
Participants will pitch in-person to our expert jury, with a 15 minute pitch and 5 minute Q&A

Qualification:
Top 2 teams from each region qualify for nationals

Prizes:
Qualifying teams win Rs. 25,000 each. Each member gets direct admission to IVB and additional funding if joining IVB, and recognition as Top 25 Upcoming Business Leader.

National Level

Participants:
Top 2 teams from each region

Location:
IVB Campus in Chennai (at Express Avenue Chambers)

Mentorship:
Teams will receive mentorship from IVB experts to fine-tune their idea and pitch

Final Pitch:
Teams pitch in the grand finale to a panel of celebrity judges including R Ashwin and renowned entrepreneurs

Prizes:
Each team gets a chance to win cash prize of 5 lakh. Winning members get a scholarship to join IVB, additional funding if joining IVB, awarded as Upcoming Founder of Tomorrow, and guidance to build their personal brand.

Building a business during college

After FoT, IVB is your natural step to go from being “upcoming” to being the real deal. IVB’s new age 3 year full-time offline UG Program in Entrepreneurship empowers students to:

  • Year I
    ‍    Upskill and learn from Industry experts

  • Year II
    ‍    Gain experience through multiple internships

  • Year III
    ‍    Build a business with co-founders, funding and mentorship

All in all, students get a serious and low risk chance at entrepreneurship, along with picking up immense skills, exposure, and network.

1. How to handle anxiety and stress
2. How to choose a college and course
3. Reality and scope of various college courses and careers
